INSIDE SIMINEO

System Design Against
Addictive Mechanics

A significant part of modern online platforms no longer works as a simple information system.

Everything is designed to generate as much activity and returning interaction as possible.

SIMINEO does not use several of these mechanics. Not for ideological reasons, but as a system design decision.

The platform does not try to continuously rearrange user attention based on behavioral patterns, and it does not build on aggressive recommendation or engagement-optimizing logic.

The timeline works chronologically, and the following model is intentionally kept manageable.

The goal is not to create endless activity cycles, but to maintain a more understandable information environment in the long run.

Compared to other models, this can result in slower initial activity.

In return, however, it reduces constant optimization pressure, unpredictable visibility changes and the accumulation of algorithmic distortions.

SIMINEO therefore does not operate as an activity-maximizing platform, but as a more predictable information system.
